Project Eden Villa is a sensitive transformation of a 65-year-old residence deeply cherished by its owner. With no desire for more space, the client sought peace, better light, and improved connectivity—both within the family and with the neighborhood. Despite its deteriorated structure and aging laterite walls, the home was carefully renovated to enhance natural light, ventilation, and openness. Key interventions included structural retrofitting, reworking traditional lime plaster with modern techniques, introducing a solar chimney in the kitchen, and converting a former storeroom into a skylit indoor courtyard. Trust was the cornerstone of this journey, and the result is a serene, light-filled space that honors the past while embracing the present.
