This residence in Kottayam, Kerala, was designed to fulfil the vision of two generations—a blend of traditional aesthetics favoured by the parents and the sleek modernity desired by the younger generation. At the heart of the home is a courtyard with a radiant lightwell that draws sunlight, creating a warm and inviting interior. Every aspect, from planning of the space to finishes like wall cladding and floor tiles, was meticulously chosen to seamlessly unify traditional and contemporary styles. This project is a harmonious testament to thoughtful, multi-generational design.
